Dr. Alla Dorfman

Dr. Alla Dorfman graduated from New York University Dental School in 2002, completed her General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn the following year and founded her first practice, Tribeca Dental Care, more than a decade ago. Since then, she has continued to expand her skills to become expert in providing Invisalign® orthodontic care for her patients, becoming a Top 1% Provider and a Diamond Provider of this service. She has completed more than 1,500 Invisalign cases in her career.

In her studies at New York University, Dr. Dorfman completed full mouth rehabilitation training so she can assist patients who have suffered extensive damage to their teeth or oral health. Every year, she continues to advance her knowledge and skillset with continuing education courses well beyond the required number of credits. She also became certified as a Lumineer Provider so she can offer this popular cosmetic improvement to her patients who want a more brilliant, attractive smile.

In 2018, Dr. Dorfman expanded her dental facilities by founding her second practice, SoHo Dental Group. Her caring attitude, patience and gentleness have won over many patients who feared dental treatment before experiencing her care.

Dr. Dorfman is fluent in English, Russian and Hebrew.

Dr. Anthony Leonetti

After completing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Rhode Island, Dr. Leonetti attended the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey and went on to complete his General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York. He joined us at the Tribeca location in 2016 and has expanded with us to the SoHo Dental Group.

Dr. Leonetti performs all phases of general dentistry for patients of all ages including restorative and preventative care, root canal therapy, Invisalign orthodontics and gum surgery.

In his studies at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, he focused on cosmetic procedures and implant dentistry. To provide treatment for an underserved population, he traveled to Managua, Nicaragua, in 2017 to provide dental implants to patients who had often lost many teeth due to a lack of proper dental care.

Dr. Leonetti continues to advance his skills every year so he can provide his patients with impeccable care, an activity he is passionate about.

When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys golfing, skiing and cooking.

Dr. Nicole Khalife

Dr. Nicole Khalife comes to us from Long Island, New York. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Villanova University and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She gained experience in a variety of dental specialties at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in Manhattan, focusing on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, root canal therapy and invisible braces.

When she is not providing caring dentistry and educating her patients on how to maintain their health, Dr. Khalife enjoys cycling, yoga, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Ziwei Gao

Dr. Ziwei Gao grew up on Long Island, New York. She attended the State University of New York at Albany where she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Gao went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York. At Northwell, she gained experience in all phases of general dentistry. Dr. Gao is compassionate and delivers specialized care to each patient.

On her off days Dr. Gao can be found traveling, dining at the newest restaurants and spending time with her dogs.

Dr. Fariya Islam

Dr. Fariya Islam is a New York native, having grown up in Queens and attended New York University for her bachelor's degree. Dr. Islam obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before going on to complete her General Practice Residency at Northwell Health North Shore University Hospital.

During her training, Dr. Islam had the pleasure of traveling to Chile to provide dental care for underserved adults and children in the town of Neltume. She also served in the non-profit organization Remote Area Medical, providing free dental treatment to underserved and uninsured populations in the United States.

Dr. Islam performs all phases of general dentistry including preventative care, tooth colored fillings, crown and bridge restorations, teeth whitening, and root canal therapy.

When she is not providing dental care to patients, Dr. Islam enjoys watching a good show, catching sunsets, and eating at NYC's many restaurants.
